This is where i will walk past ( Mt Gravatt Park ) if i wanna go west end to do my grocery shopping.I heard there is this very cheap vegetable shop from terence.Haven't yet explore it but will do so on wednesday.

Anyway yesterday i decided to do some exploring around without a map which proves to be a very very very wrong move.Oh yea i didn't go harbourtown with them cause i don't feel like it.And today daniel ( this guy in the group ) was like saying he would have take the train with me if i want to.And liz and bryan ask why didn't i go....They are so nice!!! I thought they'll heck care me especially on the account we don't know each other well.Ok anyway i went exploring west end and end up lost and was at melbourne street.So never mind about that cause after a while i found my way to the city and wanna walk to fortitude valley.So before that i have to pass by my 'neighbourhood' park namely um southbank parklands.

As you can see there are loads of people( it's a sunday).One thing i realise they love to picnic or just frolick in the sun.I couldn't take a picture to show you guys because the picnic family look so menacing and there only one of me.....So unfazed by the menacing ( actually there were really just out in the grass and minding their own business) people and the crowd i continue my journey....

Oh this is the city cat...it's like a public ship transport and it goes straight outside QUT.For pictures of how it look like inside , refer to the previous post.

And i came upon this temple like place...Right in the middle of the park...out of nowhere and no warning..I was like what the hell =_=lll

And so it says it's a souvenir of world expo 88...Ok fair enough but would anyone explain why the hell it's doing in a park.....

So this is where the city cat will stop by and where people board on it....

And as i walk on i saw something bizzare.....isn't there like a south brisbane stop earlier on...I thought of deja vu or something like that when i saw the city cat stop the second time...so i ignore it and when i saw it the third time i am sure tat it wasn't a dream...it's like south brisbane 3.Ok so there are like 3 different stops in this park....and i have to take a photo to prove that i am not insane nor am i dreaming.In the midst of trying to get over this....I came upon this.

i was like what the hell is this.....can u guys guess....NO PEEKING EH!!! guess first cannnnnnnnnnnnnnn......Zzzzzzzzzzz don't understand instructions is it...i thought it was like a sand place especially for the kids to play on the account that this is a PARK!But i should have known better that i can't think logically when it comes to this PARK! After all they had a temple like building smack in the middle of the PARK!But ohhhh i let my guard down and give it a chance.....Bad move!!

It's a freakin pool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Seriously i was like a bit dazed by the time i read this notice and i just like snap....

So i saw this cool looking sea gull.....I mean it looks so calm and NORMAL( no more bizzareness for a while please).And the way it's feather ruffles up when the cold wind passes it yet it looks so nonchalant...all these is like so attractive can....

since i like them i shall post another photo of them( different seagull from the one above).They brought me back to sanity.

Oh yea then i came to Goodwill bridge...This is where i will pass by everytime i wanna go school from my place...It links all the way to QUT and also can go to city through here.So i walk to the city botanic garden....

it's actually all swamp and rivers...i understand the importance of swamp is to our ecosystem but really to me swamps are a bit smelly and well let's face it quite unattractive.

ok so as i walk by the river i saw loads of boats as such park down there...must be some kinda bay or pls-park-ur-boat-here place.....

oh den i pass by this place again ( refer to previous post for that parliment like house photo) and took the effort to find out what is it for the sake of my FAITHFUL reader( which pratically means kanga lili and bear ryl ryl).So ta-da yet another mystery solved by Moi!!!

So after that i have to climb this really really steep slope up....it's so steep that my body is almost 90 degree..i really pity these people staying up here....i felt like i had steel buns and powerful calves and thighs that could kill people at one swoop..

So after this killing climb and some crossing of the road, i reach fortitude valley...So i bought two packets of barley ( dunno why i kept having craving for that recently...i don't even drink much barley in singapore) and a packet of sour plum sweet and a packet of uncook pearls ( u noe those that put in the bubble tea) then i went cyber city to have my tom yam and a cup of milk tea...cyber city is my favourite eat out place...but i couldn't finish all cause i have the milk tea...and therefore i ask for a container to bring the rest of my tom yam home.So i decided to walk back home and i got lost!!! WHAT THE HELL RITE!! AND ALL BECAUSE I SAID TO MYSELF: YOU GOT TO BE MORE ADVENTUREOUS...YOU GOT TO EXPLORE MORE...GO...JUST BRING URSELF AROUND...USE A DIFFERENT ROUTE TO GO HOME.YOU NEVER KNOW WHERE IT WILL BRING YOU...AFTER ALL THE ROAD IS ROUND AND NO MATTER WHERE U GO IT WILL LED U BACK HERE AGAIN ( i dunno what possess me to think like tat...possibly stupiditity.)So i did and i end up so lost that i cried.One of the driver pull up and ask if i were ok and that i need a lift....So i said with that non chalant look neh don't worry i am just sightseeing around...i think he suspect that i was lost and he ask are you lost...of course i would reply neh neh don't worry i am not i am sightseeing ( i look darn suspicious and have shifty gaze now)And he reply ok have a great day...and i reply yea thanks u too and wave....After he left i regret tremendously because i would walk another 20 min more before admitting that i am indeed lost.I was losing hope of surviving this day and was prepared to die on the pathway...my feet hurts a lot too...Den i saw this place....

Yea and i thought to myself you will be dead if u continue to walk..it's a highway for god's sake...den i turn to my right and i saw a sign that stop me dead on my track...If i have continue to walk i will end up in some other place and the sign point city 35km ( opposite direction from where i was walking towards)..That is when i know i should just turn and walk back and i did....

trust me when i reach fortitude valley again i was smiling and skipping ( just a bit so that i don't look like some weirdo)and i walk back to the city from how i came to fortitude valley.And since i am so proud of myself for making it back, i decided to celebrate my victory and thank-god-i'm-still-alive moment with a macdonald ice cream cone..It's cost 50 cent only and it's nicer than singapore version.

When i reach back my place i was soooooooooooooooooo glad and decided to take some photos of myself....So i happily happily snap snap snap

Convience that i look slimmer i began snapping away in front of the big mirror in my room...After all i have walked almost 4 hrs in total today...As i was snapping away i thought to myself hey why does my feet still hurt when i took of my shoes..I decided to investigate..and i took off my stockings and saw this....

my toe was bleeding can!! and i have blisters ALL OVER MY FEETS.OMGS NO WONDER THEY HURT SO MUCH LA!!!!

And so i was still limping today when i went to school...But that will be for tmr when i do another update...And the moral of the story is always bring a map around with you ( which i quickly put one in my bag from now onwards)....Good nite everyone...

I meet some singaporean people yesterday.To be precise um it's 5 guys and 5 girls.Two of them are from rp which terence went to know them from his frd.And so this guy bryan invited us to his house to hang out with the rest of the singaporean people.So we all exchange numbers.Actually it's more like they ask for my number and i give...if they never ask i also nv ask from them which is a bad attitude i guess.So we plan to like go harbourtown tmr ( for me it's like harbourtown again!!!!!!!!!!!).Don't get me wrong i love harbourtown.But going there for like the fourth time in this month is just weirdly insane k! They plan to rent a 8 seater car for $120 so that means $15/person which i refuse to pay cause if u take bus and train it cost only $8.00 for the whole day.So i think i'm known as the unsporting, stubborn and selfish new girl from QUT. Great way to kill my blooming social circle...hahaha but i don't really care much.In fact i don't really feel like going cause it's gonna be so boring.But i said i am going which i think they'll be grumbling if i say no last minute.The only two reason i wanna go cause 1st) i will be bored at home the whole day 2nd)i wanna hang out with them..i need to know other people cept my hsemate.

Oh yea btw this malaysian guy is sharing a room with terence.Good for terence cause then he can save so much on lodging.Sigh envy envy and i am still here paying loads of money for my room.Sighhhhhhhhhh.I've decided to FULLY UTAILSE my room.I am going to do bed angel everyday on my bed...and i am going to sleep in the middle of my bed and spread out wide.MUAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Sob i am going to be so poor cause i overspend.Haiz.Rah i want a person to share my room also!! Then i can go shopping and anywhere without working....BAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Anyway i was reading my own old blog post.And i have that mix feeling cause i sound so childish and some things were jolt back to my mind when reading them.That reminds me where are my diaries......

I wonder how is xiaobudian doing....sighhhhhhhhhhhh i miss u

we had to travel a lot of these highways to reach places....well i was the passenger and kel is the poor driver.hard on him cause it's kinda tiring to drive long distant i guess.

ikea!!!! where i bought my bed table....you know like bed and breakfast kinda table...the food they sell in ikea over here is 99% the same as those in singapore.And so are the layout of the shop.It makes me feel like i'm in singapore and remind me of the days i spend in ikea with ryl ryl...sighhh
